Day +95: Blissful Pyjama Day

Can I say again how much I love blissful pyjama days?

We did absolutely nothing today.
All day long.
Nothing at all.
We stayed in our pyjamas all day and did nothing.
Nothing at all.

If you were to look up the definition of "bliss" in a dictionary, you'd most likely find a picture of us lounging around in our pyjamas.

Oh, all right, that's a lie, a picture of us in a dictionary, but you get my point.

Even though Jonathan and I were both exhausted beyond belief, we still stayed up till nearly 3am, watching TV, playing games, mucking around on the computer, etc. It was quite naughty of us to do that, staying up so late when we really should have gone to bed early to try and let our bodies recover from the recent stress and lack of sleep. Our brains had other ideas though, with neither of us being able to switch off until the wee hours of the morning.

And boy, did we pay the price for our late night when Sean woke at 7am.

Luckily for us, Sean continued to be in a good mood, and was happy to play by himself for much of the day. Just as well, as both Jonathan and I needed to have a little nap by the afternoon. We are very blessed to have a little man who loves to play by himself.

We rewarded ourselves for doing absolutely nothing today with a seafood feast for dinner. I had bought a bunch of seafood while I was at Woolworths yesterday, which proved to be a hit tonight.

We are definitely having a much earlier night tonight. It's getting so late - off to bed I go!
